The USSD service (*426#) is one of the Bank’s strategies to ensure financial inclusion.
It’s quick, secure and an easy way for all banked customers to perform banking
transactions with convenience, regardless of segment or mobile device type

FEATURES

  • The mobile number to be used MUST be the number that is registered with the bank.
  • Allows you to select which account to transact with, where you have more than 1 DIAMOND account.
  • The maximum daily transfer limit is N100,000 (combination of Intrabank and Interbank) and maximum daily airtime purchase is N3,000.
  • The service is available to Airtel, 9Mobile, GLO and MTN subscribers and dependent on full network signal from your telecom provider.
  • The money is deducted directly from your DIAMOND account.
  • Transactions can be done within and outside Nigeria.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

Registration with Debit Cards

  • Dial *426# with your registered phone number
  • Enter the last 6 digits of your Debit Card number.
  • Enter your account number
  • Create a 4-digit PIN.

Who can use this service?

• Customers registered with any of the mobile network operators-MTN, GLO, Airtel or 9Mobile • All individual accounts, (Joint, corporate, and multiple signatory accounts are not eligible for this service.)

Can I use this service when I am overseas?

Yes, Transactions can be done within and outside Nigeria, if your number is roaming.

How secure is this service?

Security for customers is always Diamond Bank’s top priority, to conclude a transaction you require a PIN which is known only known by you.

Can I use this service on more than one account?

Yes, the service is automatically linked to all your accounts so you can select which account to use when performing a transaction.

Why am I locked out?

You would be locked out from this service if you enter a wrong PIN three times. You need to contact the Bank for assistance

What happens when I lose my phone?

Please contact the Bank immediately to deactivate you from the service.
