We have entered into a $30 million revolving facility scheme with Shell and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), called the Oil Services Local Contractor Credit Facility Scheme (OSLCCF).

Under the scheme, three organizations namely, Delta Business Development Ltd (a subsidiary of Shell International), IFC and Diamond Bank have pooled funds for on-lending to indigent Niger Delta contractors who provide services to the Shell Petroleum Development Company. While Diamond Bank manages the scheme, the other two are in parallel putting in place a capacity building technical assistance programme to support contractors in developing their businesses.

Loans for individual transactions range from $50,000 to $1.5m and are for 1 to 3 years duration.
