We facilitate investment in Treasury Bills – instruments issued at a discount by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on behalf of the Federal Government. The product is designed for clients who wish to invest funds for a period of time and do not wish to take any risk. Although the rate of return is typically the lowest in the market, it provides the highest degree of comfort for the risk-averse customers. These bills are extremely liquid instruments and are offered for 91 days at a weekly auction.

For customers who do not wish to lock in their funds for the full tenor of the instrument, we also provide rediscounting facilities and we are thus able to purchase the bills at any time before maturity. The minimum investment in Treasury Bills is N10,000. We take a charge of 0.25%.

To provide a greater degree of security for our customers, we will guarantee the notes if required, but at a slightly lower rate of return.
