Under its educational sponsorships, the Bank wholly funded the N10 million Imo State University Computer Centre by providing a building, computers and other information technology support during the past year. The centre was officially commissioned in July, 2003 by Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Chief Achike Udenwa, who hailed the project as a symbol of the Bank’s commitment to the growth of the educational sector in the state.
